Muse Woodcraft is a small artisan woodturning shop in Western Oregon. For more than 30 years I have worked in various art media, but when I discovered woodturning several years ago I was hooked. Since I got my first small lathe, it has been an almost daily ritual for

me to spend some time turning.  I do utilitarian pieces such as bowls and plates, and artistic forms such as hollow forms and vases. I strive to find the ideal balance between the nature of the wood and the best form to display it.

The wood I use is from the Pacific Northwest, and is salvaged from trees that have had to be removed. The segmented forms occasionally contain some exotic woods, and care is taken to use sustainable wood from reliable sources.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my site, let me know what you think.
